Puponga Farm Park is at the base of Farewell Spit in Golden Bay and is bounded on the west by the Tasman Sea and on the east by Golden Bay. It runs between the Farewell Spit International Wetland and Kahurangi National Park.

Being a farm park it is open to public access as well as being run as a commercial farm. Approximately 50,000 people visit the park each year on their way to the dramatic Wharariki Beach or viewing Farewell Spit and the thousands of birds migrating there.

It runs 1800 ewes and 70 breeding cows and the balance of the stock are trading. Puponga lambs 1000 hoggets and breeds replacements for both Puponga and Quartz Range.

This farm, along with Quartz Range is run under one Manager to utilize the best of both properties and climates.
